Welcome to the London Women’s History Project – our contribution to recognizing the commitment, activism, and hard work of the “second wave feminists” in London, Ontario, Canada, who lobbied hard for women’s equality from 1960-2000.

The London Women’s History Project commemorates women who worked with other women to achieve equality for all women. This is especially important because London women were and are recognized as providing leadership and innovation in many areas including violence against women, women’s education, employment issues and women’s health.
